FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions

It’s not uncommon to have questions…lots of questions, when attending a church for the first time.

What are your services like?

Our services last 75-80 minutes and we believe it may be the best 75-80 minutes of your week. We begin with high energy worship and invite everyone to sing out to God. After 25 minutes Jon Quitt, our lead pastor, will give a message out of the bible designed to stir up greater confidence that God is more than able to help you accomplish every purpose over your life. There will be an opportunity for you to receive prayer at the end of the service. Feel free to watch a previous sermon to get a feel for Hope City.

What do I need to wear?

You’ll find everything from button downs and khakis to jeans and flip-flops. Come in what is comfortable for you, because Hope City is not about what you look like or what you wear.

Do you have a midweek service?

Currently we do not have an adult midweek service. We have a variety of small groups that happen on Wednesday night and offer a children’s worship environment called KidJam and Hope City Youth that corresponds with small group meetings.

What about my kids?

Here at Hope City your children are a top priority. Our nurseries are clean, safe, and staffed with loving workers. Hope City Kids is a place where your children  (birth – 5th grade) will be loved and challenged to put their hope in God.

How can I meet other people?

There are several ways to meet new people at Hope City. You can begin by coming to our Discovery Classes or by attending a small group.

How can I get involved in a small group?

Getting involved in a small group may be a little intimidating, but well worth your time. We offer dozens of opportunities for you to meet new friends, grow in your faith and encourage someone else. Feel free to register for a group and just show up or to call the group leader and get more information.
